Director of Regions
Currently I’m serving my first term on the MARC Board of Directors; after completing 9 years as President of the Rock-Ford A’s Region of MARC. The Rock-Ford A’s is a Club of about 100 members representing the area of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
My wife and I have been involved in the Model A hobby for about 13 years. We remain very active in our Region promoting MARC membership and fellowship among club members. Spreading the word about our great hobby is a passion of mine.
I currently own a 1931 Tudor. It’s not a show car, but a driver that I take great pleasure in repairing and maintaining myself, allowing us to roll up 2,000 – 3,000 miles each year.
My wife Chris and I have attended many National Meets including Williamsburg, WV – 2007, Dallas, TX (combined MARC & MAFCA) – 2008, Merrillville, IN – 2009, French Lick, IN – 2010, Oshkosh, WI -2012, Lexington, KY – 2013, French Lick, IN – 2014, Niagara Falls, ONT – 2015, Perrysburg, OH 2016 – Gettysburg, PA 2017 and Branson, MO 2018. Attending some of the National Meets, I’ve have the privilege of serving as an apprentice Fine Point Judge in a variety of judging areas.
I have participated in MAFFI events at the Gilmore Car Museum and have supported the Museum in a variety of different ways.
It’s my hope to eventually enter a Model A, at least for Touring Class judging. I have also helped with doing photography at some of the events.
I look forward to serving the MARC membership to the best of my abilities and to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the office as Director of Regions.
