One of only 1400 Mail Trucks built on a Model A chassis. This is a late production 1931 Model A with a Mifflinberg wood body attached. Restored to original condition including all new oak wood and original steel or cast-iron parts. The engine was just rebuilt with all new internals, new poured babbitt bearings, reground crank and touring cam, new valve train and pistons. New radiator, oil pump, distributor and leak-less water pump. New wiring throughout, (even the cargo light works). Runs and drives like it should, up to 45-50 mph. This truck was used in central Colorado up until the mid-fifties, hauling bulk mail between Denver and Colorado Springs. Located in Central Florida. I can help with transport to your location.
