MARC National Meet in 2018

We have more than tentative plans so far and are as follows.

  • Monday Night Welcome Party to be held at the host hotel.
  • Tuesday a dinner/show cruise on the Branson Belle Riverboat on Table Rock Lake.
  • Wednesday Ice Cream social fashion show at the car museum.
  • Thursday Grand Tour to Silver Dollar City a theme park centered around the 1880’s and 1890’s crafts and lore as well as rides for all ages.
  • Friday Awards Dinner at the host hotel.
  • Saturday afternoon Scenic RR tour into deepest Arkansas.
    Saturday evening Dolly Pardon’s Dixie Stampeed Show and Dinner.
  • Sunday farewell.

We NEED volunteers in all areas of the meet as none of the regional members live close by.(Most 2-3 hours drive and more)

Auction of The Collection of Eugene B. Bunce

 

 

 

 

 

 

Skinner Auction house will be holding a special auction of Antique Automobiles featuring The Collection of Eugene B. Bunce, a passionate Model A collector and restorer.

The Bunce Collection is highlighted by an award winning 1931 Ford Model A Roadster ($35,000-45,000). The automobile is in very good condition and features a Manila brown body and gun metal gray belt with straw pinstripe and straw wheels, black fenders, and a brown interior. Awards include the Model A Ford Restorers Club, Henry Ford Award, MARC of Excellence (Master Restoration Award), Model A Ford Club Award of Excellence, and Restored Class 2010 AACA Senior National First Prize Winner.

9th Annual Iowa Model A Days

 

 

 

 

 

The Hawk A Model A Ford Club is sponsoring its’ 9th Annual Iowa Model A Days.  It brings together Model A owners, their cars and enthusiasts for a fun day of reliving the 20’s and 30’s.  Highlights will include a display of cars,  Women’s Tea and a couple of “how to” demonstrations or tech sessions.   A new enhanced tour will be held on Friday, August 18 followed by a “Welome” reception.    All activities are free.  Information, updates, registration, shirt purchase and contacts can be viewed at our website.

This is basically a Model A Ford event, but you will find many parts, supplies, stuff and antiques at many of the vendor tables.

57th Antique Car Show, Car Corral and Flea Market

Mohican Model A Ford Club will hold their 57th Antique Car Show, Car Corral and Flea Market on the grounds of Firemen’s Field on North Court Street in Wampsville, NY. 

Registration from 8 a.m. until Noon.  Flea Market, all day.  Judging of 27 pre-registered classes for 86 trophies.  All makes and models included with 1989 cut-off.  Dash plaques.  

Breakfast and lunch available from Wampsville Volunteer Firemen, Cash Raffle, Car Corral.  Only three miles from New York State Thruway Exit 34 (Canastota).  Annually the largest single club car show in Central New York.

8th Annual Beardsley’s Cider Mill Ford Show & Swap Meet

Model T and Model A Era Only Show & Swap Meet.   It will be held at Beardsley’s Cider Mill & Orchard in the White Hills section of Shelton. 

It is free to everyone attending including those selling antique cars and parts, those showing their 1931 and older cars, and spectators as well. 

Breakfast and lunch are available for sale and there is plenty of parking and rest rooms.
