2024 MARC National Tour

Berlin is in the heart of Holmes County Ohio Amish country. There are literally dozens of interesting places to visit within a 30 mile radius including flea markets, craft shops, bakery’s, cheese shops, wine shops, Lehman Brothers hardware, Wendell August Forge, furniture store outlets and many other points of interest.

For those of you who enjoy history, there is Roscoe Village, a restored Ohio Canal town with interesting buildings and shops, Schoenbrunn Village, a restored early Ohio pioneer village, Malabar Farms State Park in Richland County, the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum and Erb’s Coleman Lantern Museum in Sugarcreek.

For sports lovers, there is the Pro Football Hall of Fame in canton.

Also located in Canton is the First Ladies National Historic site.

You can also just enjoy the gently rolling hills and back roads with immaculate Amish homes and farms and experience the Amish culture, this is a tour you won’t want to miss!

MODEL “A” FORD DAY AT THE GILMORE 2023

Bring your roadsters, roadster trucks, cabriolets, phaetons and 400As to show off.

 ‘A’ Parking

There will be a special gate for Model A parking. It will be located on Hickory Road. Please enter there and someone will guide you onto the Gilmore grounds and to the Model A parking area.

Friday

After noon we will have “Ride the A’s” where you will get your chance to take a spin around the Gilmore campus in a Model A and our AA Stakebed truck – maybe even the Model A School Bus.

Model A Driving Experience

You will have the opportunity to participate in the Model A Driving Experience. This is a classroom, as well as a hands on, driving school. The class will run from 1PM to 4PM. The cost is $100 per person and you must preregister online for this class.

First Start

We will be doing a First Start for a car that has not been started in decades. That will be at 2PM and is always a fun event.

There will be a Special Event on Friday evening at the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary with a catered dinner and the ability to tour the Kellogg Manor House. Dinner and admission to the Bird Sanctuary and Manor House will be $45 per person and you must preregister online.

Saturday

There will be a Fashion Seminar, a technical seminar on the ABC’s of the Model A engine, Road-trip 101 and we will have a special guest talking about the Great Race. All of these seminars will be from 9:30 to 2:15. The cost for each seminar is $5 and will be collected at the door, on the day of the event.

All day we will have “Ride the A’s” where you will get your chance to take a spin around the Gilmore campus in a Model A and our AA Stakebed truck – maybe even the Model A School Bus.

MAFFI will have a sales table with merchandise for sale, but this year we are asking you to go online and preorder your t-shirts. We want to be certain to have your size ready for you at the event. Event pins may be preordered as well.

As always, our annual meeting will be held under the big tent at the Gilmore at 2:30. After the meeting the Gilmore will keep their diner open for you to grab a bite before you head home or back to the hotel.

Shade A’s Region Swap Meet

26th Annual Model A Day

Come join the Rock-Ford A’s and Clinton’s Traffic Jams for our 26th Annual Model A Day! This year the event will be held in historic downtown Clinton, WI. Our celebration of “Henry’s Lady” traditionally hosts hundreds of Model A’s and other classic cars in every body style and color from at least 4 surrounding states. Entertainment includes music and a vintage fashion show. There will be great food and specialty food vendors. We will have parts vendors, crafters, novelty and antique shops, a 50/50 raffle, and attendance prize, and a raffle for a Model A part. Something for everyone! Free admission for this event, which runs from 9am to 2pm.
