The Hawk A Model A Ford Club’s 12th Annual Model A Days

Are you ready to get back to Model A Normal? Would you like be part of a “Blast from The Past”? If so, we would like all Model A owners and enthusiasts to join us for two fun days of reliving the 20’s and 30’s.

Friday afternoon begins with a walking tour, followed by a complementary welcome reception with Amana hors d’ oeuvres.

Saturday’s highlights include a large display of driven-in Model A’s, a morning Ladies’ Tea, and a Tech Session.

All activities are free.

Antique Ford Day

St. Joseph, Illinois. – Celebrating the Model A and T sponsored by Prairie A’s Antique Ford Club of Champaign/Urbana. Interstate I-74, Exit 192 – 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. An open invitation to mix with other Ford enthusiasts. Whether your antique Ford is original or restored, shiny or rusty, no matter its condition, please bring it for others to see and enjoy. Family fun, car talk and car games. Restaurants nearby and lodging available.

2021 Michigan Round Up

Welcome to the Heart of the Hills Michigan Roundup for 2021!

 

Due to the corona virus and our governor’s orders, we were required to cancel the 2020 Michigan Roundup. We are excited to notify you that we have rescheduled the 2020-2021 Michigan Roundup for August 12, 13, and 14, 2021 and we are looking forward to seeing you there!

We are enclosing the new registration form with the details for the 2021 dates.  Also enclosed is  a form for the swap meet that is  planned for the 13th and 14th• We are offering one chance for someone who registers early to win $100 in gift certificates. This is only being offered to registrants outside the Oakleaf chapter. So get your registration in early and don’t forget to book your room at one of the hotels.

Registration and Welcome at Hampton Inn beginning Thursday evening, October 29.
Short ride on Friday, October 30
at 8:00 a.m. from hotel, afternoon tour of historic Fort Payne with dinner on your own.
Saturday ride beginning at 8:00 a.m. from hotel with Farewell Dinner at 6:00 p.m. at the Historic Iron and Coal Building in Fort Payne.

Registration fee is $20.00 and Farewell Dinner fee is $12 per person.

9th Annual Model “A”s and “T”‘s Car Show Cancelled

CANCELLED

After considerable discussion with our Standish Historic Depot Board Members, we feel it is in the best interest of all involved to cancel this year’s event. With the average age of the participants and volunteers (over 65), and the State’s regulations on holding public events, especially with respect to serving food to the public, we cannot ensure safety of all involved. We totally appreciate your support of our show and look forward to seeing you again on July 10, 2021.

We will return the registration checks. Thank you all.

MARC MEMBERSHIP MEET 2021 Cancelled

Dear MARC members and families,

 

It is with great sadness that Script A’s regret to inform you that the 2021 MARC Membership Meet has been canceled . There were several logistical reasons for the decision but the bottom line is the Covid-19 virus. We, and the MARC Board, cannot guarantee the safety of 200+ people, ensuring social distancing and masking. Currently, Michigan has a 25% capacity for area restaurants and small businesses. Some of our Self-guided venues are also currently closed. We simply cannot predict how “business” can be conducted in April. Our committee would like to reschedule this event for April 2023.

If you have already sent in your registrations, these and your check will be returned.

 

  • Each member MUST cancel their own hotel reservations for the DoubleTree Hotel – 989-891-6000.
  • The Comfort Inn – 989-892-3501, will cancel all their reservations and notify those
  • Courtyard by Marriott, please call them and 989-778-1800.
